Antennas at Submarine Communication Station
Cutler, Maine
These antennas provide contact with submarines around the world by transmitting a very powerful signal in very low frequency (VLF). Low frequencies have less interference from weather, and physical barriers. The transmitter outputs 2 million watts, making it the most powerful in the world. Operation of this submarine communication station has passed to private contractors.
So Many Thanks to LightHawk for flight support!
