On the top we see the regular patterns of the rice fields. Because it was a more direct route for the rising tide to bring salt water, planters created a dam across Wimbee Creek, with the labor of enslaved workers. Nemours Plantation on left, Long Brow on right. The variegated sun and shadows give the picture a wonderful depth.
I was flying with Southwings pilot Landon on another mission for the League when I saw this wonderful light and grabbed this shot in passing.
