Ernestine Tina Martin Wyatt, three times great grand-niece of Harriet Ross Tubman, tells us her insights on Ms Tubman
Ms Wyatt is descended from Soph, one of Harriet Tubman’s sisters that was sold away, possibly to Georgia. Ms Tubman did not have any biological children, but she adopted a girl named Gertie and helped raise her siblings' children.
